O How He Loves You and Me (Revision)

Original music: O How He Loves You and Me; Kurt Kaiser 1934-

O how he loves you and me, O how he loves you and me,
He gave his life as an offering for sin
O how he loves you, O how he loves me
O how he loves you and me.

Jesus to Calv’ry did go, His love for mankind to show,
What he did there brought hope from despair,
O how he loves you, O how he loves me,
O how he loves you and me.

He is God’s glory and light, Jesus doth make all things right,
He is the way, only truth, and the life.
O how he loves you, O how he loves me,
O how he loves you and me.

O how he loves you and me, sent here so we might believe,
He died our death so that we might be free.
O how he’s given, I am forgiven,
O how he lives, I believe.

Mr Atkinson,

I am a church musician and my choir is going to sing "O How He Loves You and Me" as anthem in a few weeks. With your permission, I would like to use your new text. Would that be permissable?
